Terms of Use

1. General

These Terms of Use govern the contractual relationship between Greulich Digital Labs (“Provider”) and the user (“User”) of the software. By using the software, the User agrees to these terms.

2. Scope of Services

kapitalfluss.ch provides a SaaS tool that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to extract data from PDF documents (credit card statements) and convert it into structured formats (CSV, Excel).

  • Availability: We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Liability Waiver & User Duty of Care

IMPORTANT: We act NEITHER as a fiduciary, tax advisor, nor as an accountant.

  • AI Limitations: Data extraction is performed by probabilistic AI models. While accuracy is high, errors (e.g., misread numbers or dates) can occur.
  • Duty to Verify: The User is strictly required to verify all extracted data for accuracy and completeness before any further use (e.g., importing into accounting systems).
  • The Provider accepts no liability for damages resulting from the unchecked further use of the extracted data.

4. Pricing & Pages

Usage of the full range of functions is based on a page-based credit system.

  • Purchase: Pages are purchased in bundles.
  • Expiration: Credits do not expire.
  • Usage: Credits are only consumed when a document has been successfully unlocked.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee, strictly limited to technical failures.

  • Condition: A refund is granted if the software is demonstrably unable to extract data from a high-quality, supported PDF document.
  • Proof: To verify the claim, a (redacted) sample of the failed document must be provided to support.
  • Subjective “dissatisfaction” after a successful extraction does not qualify for a refund.

6. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Romanshorn, Switzerland.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice in the application. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly in cases of:

  • Reverse engineering or attempting to derive the source code.
  • Sharing account credentials with third parties.
  • Abusive usage patterns that disrupt the service integrity.

10. Severability Information

Should individual provisions of this contract be invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
